The V Coil Set of 3 Metric HSS Taps is designed for general threading applications on non-abrasive materials up to 900 N/mm², including unalloyed and low alloyed steel. This versatile set includes a range of taps for both through and blind holes, making it suitable for both hand and machine threading.

Includes:

• 1 x Plug Tap: Designed with minimal taper, ideal for threading all the way to the bottom of blind holes. Only 1 to 1.5 threads are tapered, making it perfect for finishing threaded holes.
• 1 x Second Tap: Falls between plug and taper taps, with 3-5 threads tapered. It offers a balance of ease of entry and thorough threading.
• 1 x Taper Tap: Features extensive taper to gradually ease into cutting threads. Typically, the first 8 to 10 threads are tapered, making it ideal for starting threads smoothly.
